Depeche Mode 의 최신곡 "Wrong" 입니다.
4월 20일 발매된 새 앨범 "Sounds Of The Universe" 에 수록된 곡으로, 디페시 모드 특유의 파워풀한 사운드와 우울한 마인드가 여전함을 과시하는 듯 한 곡입니다. 아니, 여전하기는 커녕 더 업그레이드되었달까요. 특히 가사의 우울함의 깊이가 상당한데, 거기다 공식 뮤직비디오는 '이래도 되는 건가' 싶을 정도로 그 우울함이 지구를 뚫습니다. 느린 비트에 디페시 모드 특유의 차가운 음색으로 연주되는 Wrong 을 들으며 한사람의 우울한 악몽을 지켜보는 느낌은 우울하다 못해 착잡하고 불쾌할 지경입니다. 제목 그대로 '글러먹은 (Wrong)' 느낌이 제대로 듭니다.

신서사이저를 이용한 넓은 음역대의 사운드와 냉소적인 메세지로 지난 세기를 풍미했던 디페시 모드. 공연실황에서 보면 이제 주름이 가득한 얼굴에 안타까운 마음도 듭니다만, 만만챦은 나이에도 멋진 음악을 보여주는 그들의 모습은 여전히 멋지기만합니다.
